A robot is selling herself in my office

RobotZora visited my downtown office today to sell herself. It is expected that she will be present in many service sectors. Some of my students will probably build a digital marketing platform for her next semester.

Thinking about sending her to oversea classes to teach instead of flying out.

My San Francisco

I passed by San Francisco once in 2008 but did not have time to explore it but the Golden Gate Bridge. The bridge is magnificent but the city did not make a strong impression on me. It was the second time when I visited it in 2011, I felt in love with San Francisco. I did not know why but I had a feeling that it will be my home someday. I moved to San Francisco when I got a job here in 2014. That feeling becomes reality. Continue reading

AI: the untold story (part 1)

Seoul, 05/04/2050, DK created a prototype of his human-like robot that can move, speech, and behave like human beings. There was one thing left though, the intelligence of human.

Tel Aviv, 08/11/2050, Ben at the first time in human history, created an AI that could mimic human cognitive and emotional processes. He called DK and asked if he can put that AI into DK’s robots.

Las Vegas, 01/28/2051, Ben and DK put 2 AI robots into a test box constructed by one way mirrors so they can observe the AIs without being seen. They also placed all the parts necessary to build multiple robots in the box. Some parts were pre-attached to each other to form some less sophisticated robots. The box was attached to a vibration machine which vibrated randomly. The vibration sometimes attached some parts together, sometimes broke them apart. They turned on the two AI robots so the test began.  Continue reading

It is normally finalized from November to February when universities make offer and candidates accept the offers.
